BioMedbooster is a center of excellence for technology transfer. We build bridges between scientific research and industry, especially in life sciences and biomedical technologies. To do so we stimulate and support the commercialization of new inventions and ideas. The University of Maastricht (Universiteit Maastricht; UM), the academic hospital of Maastricht (academisch ziekenhuis Maastricht; azM) and Industrial Bank LIOF (NV Industriebank LIOF) are the initiators and shareholders of BioMedbooster.
